CARD DRIVES FOR THOSE AFFLICTED BY ILLNESS
Cards for Kindness
by Scrapbook.com
How it Works:
You send your handmade cards (blank inside - with no personal message) to Scrapbook.com.
Scrapbook.com organizes and distributes the cards to cancer foundations, hospitals, shelters, retirement homes, children's homes and other organizations in need.
The cards are used by nurses, doctors, staff members, counselors, parents and volunteers who add handwritten messages of encouragement and love before giving them to patients, children and other people in need.

CARD DRIVES FOR THOSE AFFLICTED MOST BY THE PANDEMIC
There are many local card drives in cities from NYC to Houston to Cobb, Georgia. I encourage you to find a card drive local to your community, but it was hard for me to find one near me, so I am sending some to communities outside of my own as well. These are also perfect projects for children in your life to make!
Pics4Providers (as of March 25, 2020)
As we know, NYC is an epicenter of the virus, and our healthcare workers are fighting hard against COVID-19. A health nurse practitioner in New York, started this card drive. It isn’t for physical cards - you or your children make cards and send her photos of them. She will then create a slideshow and share with healthcare workers.
You can email photos of your cards to: pics4providers@gmail.com

Simon Says Stamp created a hashtag encouraging us to show who and where we are sending our cards to. Follow this hashtag for great ideas of who to send cards to, get inspired, and use the hashtag yourself!
